    If you have been using the stock spring that came with your AEG from day one, you may have noticed a drop in muzzle velocity and/or overall AEG performance. The elasticity of stock springs tends to wear down rather quickly with continual compression and expansion of the metal. The Lonex M170 Enhanced AEG Gearbox Spring is made from durable non-linear steel which is more effective than stock AEG springs at resisting operational wear and retaining elasticity, and generates a muzzle velocity around 560-590 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs). This gearbox spring upgrade also decreases strain on the battery and serves to stabilize muzzle velocity.
