Fully licensed by Knight's Armament, the external features of this airsoft light machine gun fall right in line with the real steel version. The uni-body upper receiver is CNC-machined from tough aluminum, making this AEG one of the most lightweight LMG options on the market. The para-stock and -barrel serve to shorten this airsoft gun substantially, cutting weight to a minimum and making it very well balanced. Superior balance along with the lightweight construction make for a highly mobile weapon system that can corner tightly, maneuvering doorways and staircases with ease. The ported heat shield features four Picatinny RIS sections for attaching a vertical foregrip (included), bipod, or any number of other RIS accessories. The railed upper receiver also provides ample rail space for attaching your favorite optics. For cleaning and unjamming purposes, the entire inner and outer barrel assembly features a quick detach mechanism that is easily operated via lever at the front of the receiver.

Internally, the Stoner 96 Light Machine Gun features a redesigned 8mm gearbox with a quick change spring. Since this airsoft gun shoots around 400 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs), you may want to replace the stock spring with an M100 spring if you intend to play on indoor fields. A proprietary air nozzle and polycarbonate piston with a ported head are included right out of the box to improve air compression efficiency and muzzle velocity consistency.
