In keeping with their reputation, Lancer Tactical has added another highly affordable and highly functional AEG to their lineup. The Tactical AK74U AEG by Lancer Tactical goes well above and beyond the call of duty. The AEG brings you the modularity of an M4, the aggressive aesthetics of an AK, and the versatility of an SMG all in one cost effective package. A 5-position adjustable LE stock is built to military specifications, and is the very same stock that is employed by the U.S. military on their M4 services rifles. A sling mount on the toe of the stock allows you to connect the sling of your choice, whether that is a 1-point, a 3-point, or an old school parade sling. At the connection point between stock and receiver, ambidextrous QD sling mounts have been included to give you even greater versatility for customizing your sling position. There is also a traditional sling mount on the left side of the polymer receiver. The smooth dust cover houses the battery, and is capable of fitting up to a 8.4V NiMh stick type battery. With this type of battery connected, the AEG can fire up to around 400 FPS (w/ 0.20g BBs) and reach out to a range of almost 200 feet. The greatest feature of the Tactical AK74U AEG is the addition of a full Picatinny RIS rail system on the handguard. Rails on the top and bottom and both sides are perfect of adding a variety of accessories like PEQ boxes, vertical foregrips, lasers, and more. While this weapon is highly accurate, the rear sight left is fully adjustable. This allows you to correct for windage and elevation so you're always on target while engaging your opponents.

Battery Charger Recommendation: Airsoft Megastore recommends the use of a smart charger to avoid overcharging the battery (overcharged batteries may cause decreased airsoft gun performance and may shorten battery life significantly). Smart chargers not only shorten charge time significantly (up to 800% faster charging), but more importantly, also automatically shut off once the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharged batteries.
